THE 25TH SCHROEDER REUNION - Pack your suntan lotion, find a recipe for a heavenly dessert, prepare your smiles and cameras and get ready for the 25th Schroeder reunion on Saturday, July 24th, 1999, to be held at Oxford Furnace Branch Lake in Oxford, New Jersey. Those who don't attend are sure to miss the finest event of the year (possibly of this millennium).

Plans are being finalized with a caterer, Flynn's, to make an appearance at this year's reunion. They will entice you with such things as appetizers from 12:00 to 1:00, chips, hamburgers, sausage, chicken, salads, and other picnic-style food from 1:00 to 4:00.

All attendees need to bring their own beverages and a dessert to share. And anyone wishing to enter their dessert into the yummy baked goods cooking contest may sign up upon arrival.

The tentative cost for all this fun and merriment is a mere $11 per adult and $5 per child. Although this price may change, it will not be a large change. All will be final in the next newsletter.

There may be some surprise guests in attendance, so don't miss out - BE THERE!!

RSVP for the reunion by July 1st to Kim - PLEASE!!

ENTERTAINMENT - The editor would also like to hear your opinions about what entertainment you would like at the reunion. A few ideas are: Bingo, Auction, Talent Show, Charades, or e-mail me with something else.

MOTELS NEAR REUNION - Aunt Joan reports the following: The Olde Town Motel, 825 Route 57, Stewartsville, NJ, 908-387-9445, has only five rooms in the motel. All rooms have queen-sized beds and cost $40 per night, plus tax. The rooms are clean and quiet. If you want to reserve a room, send a $10 deposit per room.

Broadway Motel, 2300 State Highway No. 57, Washington, New Jersey, 908-689-3366. A one-bed, two-person room is $47.70 (including tax.) A two-bed room for two adults and two children is $53 per night.

THE EDITOR MOVED - The Kavanaughs moved to a new address in January, and we also have a new e-mail address. Kim Kavanaugh, 1703 Swinburne Avenue, Crofton, Maryland 21114 e-mail: breezinthruit7@erols.com Please inform me of any news!!
