Recipe of the Month Joan Bamfords Lemon Squares 1/2 cup butter 1 cup flour 1/4 cup confectioners sugar Melt butter in pan, add flour and sugar. Stir well. Press in bottom of 9" x 9" pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. 2 eggs well beaten Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon 1 cup granulated sugar 2 TB flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Beat eggs, add other ingredients, pour over baked crust Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees Cut in squares while warm.

Enjoys hunting and fishing with his son's Tom Jr. and David and his brother Karl and John Zentgraf.

Tom enjoys working on his German Genealogy, collecting Kuebler brewery memorabilia, traveling with his wife, Nancy, raising azaleas, training beagles, and woodworking.

Nancy, his wife for 30 years is the senior member of the Elementary School Teacher's in Essex County Elementary.

Tom had a work career encompassing Laborer for Schultz Roofing Co. to Industrial Engineer for the Federal Government.

His other son, David, graduated from University of Virginia in 1984 with a B.S. in English and in 1987 from College of William & Mary, Law School with a Doctor of Juris Prudence. He is practicing his profession in Alexandria, VA.
