Well, if you missed this year's Reunion you missed a day of fun. But we do understand so here is a recap of our fun and any news I gathered.

Wine and Cheese party was won by Tom Schroeder with NoblingKabinett 1986. This wine is made in Germany. The all time losers were John DuMont and Bob Sheck with side comments made about a similar taste to battery acid!!)

Peanut Scramble won by Matthew Z. Beth Ann F. Steven Sch. John F. and Sean Walsh.

Pinata Breaking the winner in this event was Tony Allen. The pinata was filled with 3 pounds of Double Bubble bubble gum. Thanks to Jack Schroeder for this contribution.

Bubble gum blowing contest the sponsor in this event was Joan with the winner being Mary Ann Bamford.

5050 Drawing - winner were

Casey U $15 Peggy W. $10 Bob Sheck $5.

Volleyball, swimming at Peggy & Jack's, and rafting the Delaware were cancelled due to RAIN!!

Family Recipe (not a Schroeder)

When a newlywed served baked ham to her husband, he noticed
she had cut the ends off and asked why.
"That's the way Mother always did it." she replied with a shrug.
    When his motherinlaw came for a visit, he asked her the same question. "That's the way my mother did it." she replied.
    Finally, he asked his wife's grandmother, who answered, "That's the only way I could get it into the pan."

The Executive Committee is proud to announce the engagement of Melessia Schroeder (Ed's grand daughter) to Glenn Ackerman. The wedding is set for June 16th, 1990. Melessia works as a benefit analyst of Conn. General Life Insurance Company.

Karl and Jean plan to go to Japan in August or September.

Debbie Allen graduates in December with a B.A. in Psychology.

Joan Bamford has been teaching for 30 years. When not teaching she is looking for a plane to visit Disney World on weekends.

Scott Sheck gave an excellent demonstration on rowing a boat. Comments were also made to the Editor on how tall Scott has become (6'1) at age 15. (Have the blisters healed yet, Scott ?)

Thank you everyone for all the things you did during the Reunion (pick up the food, make coffee etc)

And of course ALL out-of-towners thank our in town hosts and hostesses for their hospitality and excellent desserts!!

Final Note:

When making your own hot drink at Aunt Virginia's that is SALT on top of the stove. The sugar is on the kitchen table!!
